The Suffolk market
Suffolk is a varied market, from affordable family homes in the larger towns to a strong premium segment on the coast and around Bury St Edmunds and Woodbridge. As a guide, the average sold price across the county was around £331,000 in the year to March 2026 (HM Land Registry), with desirable coastal locations considerably higher.
Figures are indicative and move over time; we’ll give you accurate, up-to-date advice for your specific home and location.
Much of Suffolk’s coast falls within the Suffolk and Essex Coast and Heaths National Landscape, around 60 miles of estuaries, salt marsh, heath and beach taking in Aldeburgh, Southwold, Orford and Walberswick, with nature reserves such as RSPB Minsmere. To the south, the county shares Constable Country with Essex along the Stour valley. It’s a county made for walking, sailing, big skies and slower weekends.
